Greta Nelson

Hi my name is Greta Nelson, I am born and raised right

here in Northern Minnesota. Northome is located near

Mizpah, Gemmell, Kelliher, Blackduck, Margie, Big Falls

Mn. I serve the tri county areas of Koochiching , Itasca,

Beltrami Counties. I enjoy hunting grouse, preparing for

deer season, fishing for the Wiley walleye. I have fished

Red Lake, Lake of the Woods, Dark and Clear Lakes,

Island Lake, Moose Lake and many more. The occasional

coyote hunt, camping and riding my side x side. Did you

know our area has more miles of groomed snowmobile

trails then highways?

I also love music! I have volunteered many hours working

to bring one of our local music festivals to you. I have 4

beautiful granddaughters and 2 handsome grandsons. I

have served on the Northome City Council, owned my

own businesses here, was the Northome City Admin, done

a number of benefits, and many hours of volunteer work.

I feel very blessed to be part of such a wonderful caring

community. I have much knowledge of what makes our

area so unique and welcoming. I would be very happy to
